Council businesses mentoring to address Covid-19  impacts

From Wednesday 25 March, Council will be providing a blend of dedicated webinars which follow with provision to book one to one mentoring slots to support your business in key areas of Finance, Digital/Online and Human Resources.

Financial Support

Cashflow Planning – Focusing on how to plan your cashflow and access finance/grants.  This webinar is delivered by Eilish Devlin, Finance Mentor on the Amplify Escalator Programme.  This video is available to access at any time.

Coronavirus Self-Employed Support Scheme – The NI Tourism Alliance hosted a webinar with Dawson & Company Chartered Accountants on the Self-Employed Support Scheme.

Working from Home – Get assistance on how to work from home to (set up a remote office/stay connected with staff/ensure the security of your home office) with Q&A session.

Delivering Services Online – Deliver your services online. Develop new ways of delivering your services online/quick e-Commerce / Facebook shops/accept payments with Q&A session.

Connect with Customers – Stay connected with your customers/get your social messaging right/use online tools such as Facebook Live, Zoom, Creating videos, Setting up Facebook community groups with live Q&A session.

Managing a remote Workforce – With many businesses having to move to or upscale remote working for staff during the current crisis, Laura Gillespie (Partner, Pinsent Masons) will consider the practical data protection issues that businesses should be mindful of; such as the use of web-based platforms, safe communications and managing paper records. With cybercriminals ready to exploit the change in working practices, Laura will also discuss some top tips for protecting your business from the cyber risk.
