Monday 18 November @ The Braid, Ballymena
This workshop introduced 60 year 10-12 pupils from Ballymena Academy, Dunclug College and St Louis Grammar to the process of developing digital products to meet a business or society need led by the leading STEM educational provider Sentinus.
Students had an opportunity to learn from a professional developer about the design thinking process, as used in industry, to help with concept creation. This was followed by some practical digital skills development for app building.
The programme concluded with an introduction to the Longitude Explorer Challenge, asking young people to develop artificial intelligence solutions to a range of real world issues.
